Twitter War: Keith Olbermann vs. Piers Morgan

| by Michael Allen

A Twitter feud has broken out between CNN’s Piers Morgan and Current TV’s Keith Olbermann, who fired the first shot, mocking Christine O'Donnell's walking off of Morgan's Wednesday show, by tweeting "Who walks out on @PiersMorgan tonight? I'm betting on...the audience (as usual)."

O’Donnell walked off Morgan’s talk show after he repeatedly asked her about gay marriage. O’Donnell later denied that she left because of his gay marriage questions, but departed because he was talking about sex too much and causing her to be late for a Republican function.

In response, Morgan slammed Olbermann's low ratings on Current TV and then, later, called Olbermann a "coward" with a challenge for him come on his CNN show for a debate.

This isn’t the first time the two have butted heads. In January, Morgan announced that he was banning Olbermann temporarily from his show. He tweeted that he was blacklisting Olbermann to "confuse and bemuse him, and hopefully engender a violent reaction.”

Olbermann responded by tweeting that Morgan had been badgering him to come on the show, after "banning him for life." He then got in a phone hacking joke before saying good night to his followers.
