VH1 is planning to air a new reality series, called "Naked Dating," which is exactly what it sounds like.
According to Reuters, a man and a woman will each date two naked people.
Popular VideoCongress just passed a drug testing law that has a lot of people outraged. Do you think this is wrong?
The series is supposed to free the daters from preconceived notions and stereotypes. After their dates, the man and woman will discuss what they've learned (and seen) from their dates before deciding whether to move forward in their potential romances.
The actual nudity is likely to be carefully obscured with editing and camera angles, as VH1 says the series will air "according to network standards."
"At first, this seems like a show that’s all about a noisy, provocative hook, and we embrace that,” Susan Levison, Executive Vice President of Original Programming and Production at VH1, told The Hollywood Reporter. “But when you go deeper, it’s really about something that we can all relate to, the search for true love. It’s also a series with heart and masterful storytelling, both earmarks of an engaging, must-watch show.”
