TV Viewers Furious at Obama for VA Press Conference Cutting into 'The Price is Right'

| by Michael Allen

President Obama held a press conference this morning to address the reports of long wait times for veterans who sought medical care at multiple Veterans Affairs hospitals.

"When I hear allegations of misconduct, any misconduct, whether it's allegations of VA staff covering up long wait times, or cooking the books, I will not stand for it," stated President Obama, noted CBS News. "Not as commander in chief but also not as an American. None of us should. If these allegations prove to be true it is dishonorable, it is disgraceful, and I will not tolerate it, period."

While most Americans welcomed the president's response regarding this life-and-death issue, viewers of "The Price is Right" were furious that the presidential press conference cut into their precious game show this morning, noted Mediaite.com.

Some viewers tweeted their anger at the president for interrupting their show, when in reality it was the programming choice of CBS television.

If Obama takes up one more minute of my price is right, I'm going to throw the remote at my tv.

Today I continue to dislike Obama as he interrupts my @PriceIsRight again.

Obama shut the f--- up, im trying to watch the Price is Right and you are ruining my day just like our country.

Really Obama? This not important to interrupt the Price is Right!

I'm done listening to Obama make promises about healthcare. That's not breaking news. Put the price is right back on!
