Teleprompter, Scripts Fail During Live Newscast (Video)

Nick Butler, an anchorman on Channel 10 in Adelaide, Australia, had a problem with his teleprompter during a live broadcast on Monday night.

Butler was reporting on cricket scores when he decided to switch to his written script, but part of the script was missing, noted Mediaite.com (video below).

Butler looked for his missing script pages, and then went to some video footage that was also wrong.

During the live broadcast mishap, news anchor Rebecca Morse watched with "empathy and sheer terror," notes News.com.au.

At the end of his on-air ordeal, Butler concluded, “That was a bit of a nightmare, sorry about those technical issues.”
