An unidentified gunman entered a Dutch TV network studio in Hilversum, Denmark, today.
The gunman demanded airtime and was taken to an empty studio inside the Nederlandse Omroep Stichting (NOS) network.
However, instead of giving the gunman his airtime, the NOS broadcasted the words "One moment please" for half an hour.
“The things that are going to be said, those are very large world affairs. We were hired by the security service," said the gunman who paced around the empty studio, noted NBC News (video below).
Moments later, several armed policemen entered the studio. The man surrendered and dropped his gun, which turned out to be fake, according to ABC News.
Authorities said the 19-year-old man was from South Holland, but did not say what his motive was.
