'Good Luck Charlie' Introduces Disney Channel's First Gay Couple (Video)

| by Michael Allen

The Disney Channel's TV show "Good Luck Charlie" recently introduced the cable network's first same-sex couple.

According to TV Guide, two lesbians arrive at Charlie's home with her play date, but Charlie's parents, Amy and Bob Duncan, don't know that the play date has two moms (video below).

The lesbian moms are only expected to appear in this one episode of "Good Luck Charlie" as it is the series' final season.

LezGetReal.com reports that the American Family Association’s One Million Moms started an email campaign last year and warned that if Good Luck Charlie "goes through with introducing LGBT content, then the floodgates will be opened for all programs on the Disney Channel, a trend that will be almost impossible to stop.”
