"The Broadcast," a morning TV show on KTXD in Dallas, got into a heated discussion on Tuesday about openly-gay football player Michael Sam kissing his boyfriend on ESPN upon hearing the news that he had been drafted by the St. Louis Rams.

Amy Kushnir, one of the co-hosts of the program, was upset that children might have witnessed the gay kiss, noted 12 News Now (video below).

“When parents do not have a choice about whether or not they want their children to see this, it is wrong,” stated Kushnir. “He has every right to do what he wants, I just don’t want it in my face.”

After the other hosts noted kissing in films by men and women, Kushnir fired back, “ESPN would not have aired any of it had he been kissing his wife. This was an opportunity to make news.”

Moments later, Kushnir announced, “I’m going to Midland,” and walked off the set, reports Gawker.
