Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez on Verge of Breaking Up?
The ever-astute JoJo mentioned the other week that Halle Berry’s atrocious choice of outfit that she wore to the Golden Globes was likely because there’s trouble in the already horrendously-strained relationship with Olivier Martinez.
It’s a fairly sound theory- when Halle’s love life goes down the toilet, so does her judgement to choose good outfits.
The couple went to Miami last weekend and things seem to have settled down with Gabe Aubry, 36, after the Thanksgiving beat down fiasco.
Halle, 46, and Olivier, 47, have shelved plans to move to France with four-year-old Nahla and will now stay in Los Angeles so she can spend time with her French-Canadian model father.
But not surprisingly, the custody battle has taken its toll on the relationship.
I spoke to a source who saw Martinez and Berry when they went to Paris over Christmas and they say that they’ve been very close to splitting in recent months.
“Olivier is not happy,” says the source. “He feels demonised by the American media and as if he’s been painted as the bad guy in the custody battle with Gabe when he’s actually the good guy and been a tower of strength for Halle during a difficult time.
“He’s agreed under duress not to move back to Paris so there wouldn’t be a long drawn out custody battle.
“But he still wants to move back to France. And the more he talks about spending some time there on his own, the clingier Halle becomes.
“Olivier is in a difficult situation where if he leaves her he’s a bad guy and if he stays he’s still a bad guy.
“The feeling in Paris is that he’ll be back in France by summer and that they’ll eventually call the engagement off and split later this year.”
I’ve also heard that he’s taken his classic sail yacht ‘White Wings’ off the market and will be sailing around the med on it this summer.
It’s currently moored in Corsica but is heading back to Antibes in the south of France in time for April so his captain can do the necessary repairs to have it ship-shape in time for Olivier to use it once the yachting season starts on the med.
The question is… will Halle be with him by then?

Please enlighten me on how Monsieur Martinez feels like he's being victimized? He seemed perfectly fine driving Halle's car and making his early morning liquor runs. BTW he also can't be around Nahla if he's drunk or so many hours of drink from what I have been told. He only got his hand in a splint a few days after the incident. Halle really must have serious father issues if she thought marrying a chain smoking alcoholic would make a better father than Aubry? Do believe Olivier (and Halle) got off easy. Pro Nahla.

forgot to add this typical pre-set up their doctors.Many folks have been commenting that they're glad they have seen him much around Nahla via tabloid internet photos and that Halle didn't bring to the GGs or the BET Awards. He is a liability. IDK much about the rumors of he's nuttier than Halle (maybe more arrogant)or if Berry really did help him pay off the 20 health code violations or selling his Aston-Martin Volente (not to be confused with Halle's DAD gift).

Total horse hockey. Halle's worn tacky outfits to award shows regardless of her relationship status for years. OM has never had any intention of living in the US permanently and is the only real reason Halle wanted to movie to France and wanted to get rid of Aubry.
His job was to get Halle to move to Paris--he's failed twice. They've going through the motions for awhile. Halle really no longer has any use for him.
If Halle was really interested in moving to France for the right reasons with Nahla--the Judge would have granted her permission and the Thanksgiving fight would never have happened plus she's not going to pay 75% income tax and would have known that only civil marriage ceremonies are valid not religious ones and not have two ceremonies with thie issue ofd her being married in the Catholic Church is moot (divorced 2x w/ a bastard child). Him "standing by her side" is no different than Eric doing so for her two fender benders or David doing so when she was being sued for $80K from a married dentist she had a fling with.
Martinez feels like he's demonized in Amercia? Folks abroad feel the same way about what he did too.Please. It's not a matter of if they split, it's when will they split. Plans were over when the Judge said no in November 10 days from Halle & OM going postal on Aubry while Martinez was drunk. More fluff from Team Martinez/Team Halle? Miami was business and more damage control. Paris during Xmas was also damage control and part of the legal settlement of Aubry not pressing charges against Berry and Martinez. Th only reason they haven't "split"as of yet is to save face.
