Target Stores Pull 'Whitney Houston' Card From Shelves

Target has decided to remove a greeting card, which reads: "The next time you think of dating the bad boy, think of Whitney Houston. That's all I'm going to say."

The card was apparently referring to the turbulent relationship between Whitney Houston and her ex-husband Bobby Boown, who has been blamed by some for infidelities and turning Whitney on to drugs.

Although the name of the company that created the card was not disclosed, Target confirmed its decision to pull the card from stores in light of Houston's recent death.

Target stated: "The card was in our stores prior to Ms. Houston's death. As soon as this was brought to our attention, we began the process of removing the card from all applicable stores."
