Russell Brand Stops Following Katy Perry on Twitter

| by

It’s official – again. Russell Brand has cut another tie with Katy Perry, his soon to be ex – he’s unfollowed her Twitter account.

Russell has 4.6 million Twitter followers, while his own “following” list now only contains 77 people. This includes his “Get him to the Greek” co-star, Jonah Hill, Rainn Wilson from “The Office”, talk show host Ellen DeGeneres and Conan O’Brian.

Russell is not the only celebrity embroiled in Twitter politics.

On Wednesday, pop princess Rihanna unfollowed her ex Chris Brown. That occurred just hours after Chris released a remix of Kanye West‘s “Theraflu” (now re-titled “Way Too Cold”). In it, Brown raps an unflattering line about the promiscuous ways of his “old [expletive].”

Shortly after Rihanna removed him from her Twitter list, Brown did the same. He tweeted later, without directly naming Rihanna, that assumptions were being made about his new release and that if offense was taken, it is because there was something to feel guilty about.
