Roseanne Barr Tweets Pictures Of Battered Face, Jokingly Accuses Bill Cosby

Roseanne Barr made headlines after tweeting a picture of her bloodied and swollen face, joking that Bill Cosby was responsible for the injuries.

At 12:10 a.m. on Wednesday morning the 62-year-old tweeted that she had a “tussle” with Bill Cosby. A few minutes later, she tweeted: “U shoyld see that mfer.”

Immediately following her tweets, her words were deleted. More than two hours later, Barr confirmed that her skin problems were the result of a chemical peel.

“Got a chemical peel to look more sexier,” Barr tweeted. “Joked about tussling cosby.”

Though some noted that Barr’s injuries looked more like the result of cosmetic surgery, others replied with genuine concern for her health. Despite the reason, her 263,000 Twitter followers were sent into a frenzy following the tweets.

Speaking to the New York Daily News, Barr noted that she didn’t want to get sued by Cosby or have anyone beat her up, but that his 13 to 1 ratio was “obvious”, referencing the 13 women who have come forward claiming they were attacked by Cosby.

The 62-year-old is best known for starring alongside John Goodman in her self-titled sitcom until 1997.
