Porn Site Data Shows Republican States More Likely To Spend Lengthy Visits Watching Explicit Sex Videos Online

Republicans like to call the reliably Red States the “real America,” and if that’s true, then real Americans sure do like Internet pornography. There are 23 states where porn viewers are likely to spend more time than the national average viewing online videos of explicit sexual acts. Of those, 16 voted for 2012 Republican Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney. Only six went to Democrat Barack Obama.

Those figures come courtesy of Pornhub.com, which in addition to compiling thousands of Internet porn videos on one site where they can be viewed for free, also assembles and releases data on the porn-watching behavior of its users.

The national average time spent watching Pornhub videos per single visit is 10 minutes and 51 seconds.

The political website Policymic.com crunched the numbers to come up with the Red State vs. Blue State porn preferences, finding also that in 18 of 24 conservative-voting states, the number-one porn search term was “creampie.”

Democratic, or “Blue” states, had more diverse tastes. Northeastern Blue States favored searches for “college” pornography, while out west, California, Washington and Hawaii porn viewers were most often searched for “Asian” sex videos.

Mississippi led the nation in time spent watching videos on Pornhub (the site’s statistics apply only to users on its own site). At other end of the spectrum, Rhode Islanders get bored with porn quicker than viewers in any other state.

The website Gizmodo also performed some analysis on the Pornhub data, finding that users in Kentucky show a preference for Japanese animated sex while Wyoming Pornhub users ran frequent searches for “backroom casting couch.”

Wyoming viewers also searched most often for “smoking” and “teen” videos, breaking with the nationwide preference for the search term “milf,” which ranked with “teen” and “creampie” among the top three terms searched by Pornhub visitors nationwide.

The adjacent states of New York and New Jersey were the only two of the 50 where  “massage” ranked in the top three porn search terms.

The only actual person to make any state’s list of top three search terms was porn star Anita Queen, who was top in Nevada.
