The premiere of The Hunger Games took place last night (March 12) at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.
Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth celebrated the premiere of the first of four planned films based on the trilogy of best-selling novels by Suzanne Collins. The film is set in a dystopian future in which children are forced to fight to the death on live television, while some hold out hope of overthrowing the oppressive Capitol.
The event was star studded with co-stars Elizabeth Banks, Wes Bentley, Leven Rambin, and Jacqueline Emerson also appearing, in addition to Miley Cyrus who was there to support her boyfriend, Hemsworth.
