Our friends at Empire are going all out following Star Trek Into Darkness. They’ve debuted four new covers for the February 2013 issue including two special edition covers for subscribers only. Thanks to our friends at SuperheroHype (with an assist from Playlist) we have some of the images that can be found between those covers, including new looks at Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, Alice Eve and Benedict Cumberbatch.
All eyes and Trekkie thoughts at this stage are on Cumberbatch and his character John Harrison. We know he’s the villain, but is he Khan or isn’t he? It has been confirmed that he is a member of Starfleet who betrays the organization and has his own secret agenda. According to Cumberbatch, Harrison is “someone who has enormous physical strength. He’s someone who is incredibly dangerous, both as a physical entity and through the use of various technologies and weapons and who performs acts of what I would describe as terrorism. He’s also a psychological master. He manipulates the minds of those around him to do his bidding in a very, very subtle way.” The actor said he drew inspiration from villains like Hannibal Lector, Jack Torrence (The Shining) and Heath Ledger’s Joker.
Popular VideoCongress just passed a drug testing law that has a lot of people outraged. Do you think this is wrong?
