‘Twilight’ hunk Kellan Lutz is now joining the whirlwind of casting possibilities for the upcoming movie “Fifty Shades of Grey” movie. This particular celeb, however, isn’t shooting for the leading role of Christian Grey, but rather has his heart set on playing the lead’s brother, Elliot.

Apparently the casting direction has been a result of Lutz’ fans’ opinions. He admittedly doesn’t know much about any of the characters from ‘Fifty Shades,’ saying “I haven’t read the books: I need to though.”

Instead, he’s banking on advice from his followers. “The fans saw similarities between Emmett (from Twilight) and Elliot. I don’t know much about either," Lutz says.

Fashion&Style describes the difference between the two heartthrob roles: “Elliot is Christian's less serious, playful adopted older brother. He's more lenient when it comes to Ana, and he jokes with her sometimes. He makes jokes with his brother Christian and kind of takes him out of his element.” Lutz says that the part of Elliot is much more his style.

But Lutz doesn’t quite have the part of Elliot Grey in the bag. Real-life hunky brothers Liam and Chris Hemsworth are also top contenders for the roles of Elliot and Christian Grey, as the movie’s producers seem to be, above all else, seeking out believable chemistry in all of their players.
