Rumors are still flying around the casting of the upcoming film rendition of “Fifty Shades of Grey.” While we still don’t know who will be the final players, we can make some pretty good guesses.
Christian Cooke has been rumored to play the lead role of Christian Grey, though the International Business Times seems to think he’d be much better suited for the slightly more low-profile role of Christian’s brother, Elliot. “While he may have the looks and the right age for the part of Grey, Cooke might be better suited off to play Elliot Grey, the older brother,” they write. “Plus, Cooke's off screen belle Dianna Agron, who has long been eyed for the part of Kate Kavanagh, can play opposite him.” This just may work, as we know that producers and casting directors are especially looking to for teams that have amazing chemistry.
Dianna Agron has long been one of the top contenders to play Anastasia Steele. At this point, though, we can only wait and see who the movie producers will choose for the roles.
“Fifty Shades of Grey” is due to be released in theaters on August 1, 2014.
