Madonna Promises to Keep Clothes On During Super Bowl Show

At a press conference this week, Madonna promised there would be no nudity during her Super Bowl half-time show: "Great attention has been paid to my wardrobe. There will be no wardrobe malfunctions."

Madonna added: "In 25 years of performing, I've never worked so hard or been so detail-oriented or freaked out as I have getting the schedule together for the Super Bowl. The envelope I'm pushing is just for a spectacular show which will entertain all age groups and be a spectacular feast for the eyes."

She also dedicated her half-time performance to her father: "He gave me the work ethic I have. Of all the things I've done in my life, this will be the thing he is most excited about. I'm so excited to be here. I'm really nervous. This is a Midwestern girl's dream to perform at the Super Bowl half-time."

Madonna revealed that she pulled a hamstring while training and rehearsing for the show, and suffered a cut on her nose: "Lots of tape and ultrasound and warming up. I feel like one of the players. But I'm all right. You have to be ready for your game so I rehearse, rehearse, rehearse so I'm ready for anything."
