Chefs Create Controversial Cannibal Burger To Celebrate Fifth Season Of The Walking Dead

| by Emily Smith

A team of London-based chefs developed a controversial cannibal burger, which apparently tastes like human flesh, to mark the launch of The Walking Dead’s fifth season.

Miss Cakehead and Mess London chef James Thomlinson were the masterminds behind the burger, which they created after studying testimonials of infamous cannibals. One cannibal, author and journalist William Seabrook, described the taste of human flesh as being like “good, fully developed veal” that hasn’t yet become beef.

After a series of experiments, the team decided on a burger mix of pork, veal, chicken liver and bone marrow to best replicate the taste and texture of human flesh.

Free samples of the burger will be available on September 30th in East London from the Terminus Tavern pop-up in a secret location. The location will be revealed later via the #terminustavern hashtag on Twitter.
