Tom Hooper's Les Miserables had its lavish gala world premiere tonight, Wednesday December 5 in London at the Odeon Leicester Square. Hooper was joined on the red carpet by his stars, Hugh Jackman, Anne Hathaway, Russell Crowe, Amanda Seyfried, Eddie Redmayne, Helena Bonham Carter, Sacha Baron Cohen (with his gorgeous wife Isla Fisher), Samantha Barks, Isabelle Allen and Daniel Huttlestone (who plays Gavroche). As you can see in the pics below, the rest of the huge cast, the "chorus" were there as well.
I have to say, Anne Hathaway in Givenchy Couture was looking for all the world like "Yeah, I got this." Stunningly gorgeous, cutting her hair may have been the best thing she ever did. The dress must have weighed 50lbs it had so many pearls on it. How's she gonna top that on Oscar night or the New York or LA premieres (assuming they have them)? (I have also read some less than kind remarks about the dress. I guess it's one you either love or hate.) Eddie Redmayne must have thought he was doing a shoot for Abercrombie and Fitch while Jackman just looked utterly, utterly DILF-y.
Popular VideoSNL is not a fan of the Trump administration, and it shows with every new skit they produce. Do you think they need to tone it down?
Other red carpet stunners, Gillian Anderson in the best red velvet dress ever (She must have walked to Leicester Square because no way she squashed that into a limo. Maybe she rode the tube and stood up clutching a pole.), Matthew Morrison, Stephen Fry and Idris Elba.
