"Girls" creator, writer, and star Lena Dunham is teaming up with fellow creator Jenni Konner to release a new show about Betty Halbreich, a personal shopper.
Halbreich created her own job at Bergdorf Goodman in 1976 and has grown in success ever since. She is known for dressing Sarah Jessica Parker, Meryl Streep, Glenn Close, Joan Rivers and Liza Minnelli.
She has also consulted for TV and movies. Woody Allen films and "Sex and the City" have worked with the fashionista.
Halbreich is now 85 years old and is still holding the same job. Dunham and Konner named the show, an HBO memoir, "All Dressed Up and Everywhere To Go." They plan to write it together and chronicle Helbreich's vibrant relationships with Manhattan socialites.
