Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries Receive Furry PETA Wedding Present

Kim Kardashian and hubby Kris Humphries received a nearly $400 surprise from PETA, and it came in the form of a gorgeous faux fur throw blanket.

Yesterday afternoon, OK! magazine reported that the couple received this housewarming gift as a plea from the animal rights organization to stop wearing real fur.

PETA President Ingrid E. Newkirk told the celebrity news mag: “Today’s luxurious faux furs make it easy for anybody to keep up with the Kardashians. We hope that every time Kim looks at her beautiful gift, she thinks about the animals who were electrocuted, stomped, or skinned alive for the real fur she has favored in the past and she decides that in her new life as Mrs. Humphries she will only go with the faux.”
