Kanye West is thinking big, amusement park big for his next entrepreneurial adventure.
The rapper has already opening his own restaurant chain, launched a women’s clothing line and premiered his first movie short, Cruel Summer, at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival. Now, he wants to design his own theme park and plans to work on the idea once the Grammy Awards are over next year.
He told GQ magazine that post-Grammys 2013 he wants to work on cities and amusement parks to change the entertainment experiences and people’s lives.
West plans to complete the project in partnership with members of his new design firm Donda. He is already looking to Alexander McQueen and Mirror Mirror filmmaker Tarsem Singh for inspiration and wants something that can provide entertainment of a Cirque du Soleil or a Walt Disney.
