Jennifer Love Hewitt Lands New TV Show 'Client List'

| by Michael Allen

Jennifer Love Hewitt will star and executive produce 'The Client List,' a new TV series to air on the Lifetime network.

The hour-long series is based on a 2010 TV movie of the same name in which Hewitt played a beauty queen who took a job at a massage parlor when her family faced foreclosure on their home.

In the TV series, she will be trying to balance two different lives: one as a single mom in a conservative town struggling to provide for her family, and the other as an ambitious businesswoman working with an unpredictable group of women in a massage parlor, which is now being referred to as a "lively spa."

Lifetime has ordered ten episodes for the series, which will debut in 2012. The network also has a deal with Hewitt's production company Fedora Films that includes a directing gig for Hewitt on a future Lifetime movie.

Following the end of her series 'Ghost Whisperer,' Hewitt appeared on the TV series 'Love Bites' and 'Hot in Cleveland.'
