Jennifer Lawrence Wants to Play 'Bridget Jones'

| by

The fact that stars get bored during endless promo junkets coupled with poor quality translators at some international magazines means we quite often end up gibberish interviews. At least we assumed that's why The Hunger Games' Jennifer Lawrence is going on about wanting to be Renee Zellweger in a pasta bath. Perhaps she means it? It could be some kind of role play fetishism that a lot of people get up to in their spare time... Is there a name for the fantasy? Penne Shellweger?

So, talking to German Interview, Jennifer Lawrence said:

“I have always wanted to play Bridget Jones. That’s the movie I put on when I am homesick, although England is not my home. When you’re feeling ‘bleh’ and you want a movie that you’re never bored of watching, Bridget Jones is that for me so it’s natural to say that I want to be Bridget Jones."

And on what she wants to do with her next pay cheque, she added:

"Bathe in a pool full of pasta.”

That's actually Renee Zellweger's worst nightmare. Stealing her role and talking about carbs - Jennifer's just tormenting her now.
