Gabriel Aubry was granted a restraining order against Halle Berry’s fiance, Olivier Martinez, after being beat to a pulp by the actor.
Aubry, 36, and Martinez, 46, were involved in a violent altercation over the Thanksgiving holiday, but the details are finally coming out and it’s quite interesting.
The crazy fight between Halle Berry’s fiance and her baby-daddy on Thanksgiving led to Aubry’s arrest and hospitalization. But it seems there is much more to the story.
Now Gabriel Aubry has obtained a restraining order against Halle Berry’s fiance Olivier Martinez and paints quite a different picture of what went down on Thursday.
In Gabriel’s declaration he said that the day before the beat down, he had taken his daughter Nahla to her school play. Halle and her fiance showed up and Olivier walked up to Gabriel and whispered in French in his ear.
Olivier, who hails from France and Gabriel is French-Canadian, was told, “I wish I could beat the s**t out of you right now. You’re lucky we’re in a school right now. We’re going to take Nahla right now and you’re not going to follow us.”
The following day, Gabriel took Nahla to Halle’s at around 10 AM. Aubry said normally the nanny handles things when he picks up or drops off his daughter, but Olivier greeted him at the door.
Gabriel claims Olivier said, “We need to talk.” Gabriel says he walked toward the front door when Olivier jumped off the stairs and knocked him to the ground and started beating the crap out of him, claiming that he had cost him and Halle $3 million in their custody war.
Olivier screamed that they were going to move to Paris and Gabriel had better move there too or Olivier would kill him.
Gabriel alleges in his declaration that Halle lost her bid to get primary custody with the judge consistently siding with Gabriel for a 50/50 arrangement.
A source revealed that Gabriel wasn’t the aggressor in the situation and that he was cold cocked out of nowhere.
In fact, Aubry wanted police to get the security tape from Halle’s home to prove his innocence. The insider said, “He wanted the (security) video. Apparently the cameras were repositioned so it’s not on tape,” the source said. “That’s a sign when someone’s innocent. He was begging to get the tape.”
Sources on Halle’s side claim it was Gabriel who flew into a rage and started the fight.
We tend to believe Aubry’s story because of how badly he was beaten by Martinez. The judge apparently bought his story or he wouldn’t have been given the restraining order.
