Bodyguard Matt Fiddes Says Blanket Jackson is His Son

Michael Jackson’s former bodyguard, Matt Fiddes, is headed to Los Angeles to attempt and prove he is the biological father of the singer’s son Blanket.

Fiddes, a successful British martial arts expert, claims that Michael wanted a “sporty” child and that in 2002 he gave Jackson a sperm donation. He now believes that Prince Michael II “Blanket”, 10, is his son.

Matt said he was previously unaware that Blanket was his child, until Jackson’s friend Mark Lester told him.

In a 2009 interview, Fiddes stated, “Michael never told me himself that Blanket is my son but he took my sperm and the child is the spitting image of me.”

Fiddes says that Jackson’s mother Katherine prevents him from contacting the family because she thinks he is after money.

Matt said, “Katherine’s worried we will come after the estate and will tell the kids the truth. But to me the truth is the big issue, and that’s why I want to take it further. I’m a self-made man, I don’t want or need their money.

“All I want is access if he’s my child, to take him out, and spend some time together. My mum is dying of cancer. I want her to see Blanket more than anything.”
