We have got another potential Christian Grey joining the studly group of actors who are already positioned as top picks. This time, it is someone we would not necessarily have guessed, but it makes a whole lot of sense.
“British visual artist and filmmaker, Sam Taylor-Johnson, was confirmed to direct the film version of E.L. James's best-selling erotic novel, ‘Fifty Shades of Grey,’” reports International Business Times. Her husband, Aaron Taylor-Johnson could be just what the film’s casting directors ordered.
The actor starred in his wife’s only feature film to date, “Nature Boy,” and according to International Business Times, he would love to work with his honey again for “Fifty Shades.”
"I think she’s such an incredible director and she’s got such an incredible vision," he said. "And especially for something like this [which] she can do — no pun intended — with her hands tied behind her back and blindfolded.”
However, the actor also mentioned that he is not necessarily interested in becoming the character of Christian Grey, saying he doesn’t “fit the bill” for the part.
Up against Hollywood heartthrobs Ian Somerhalder, Henry Cavill and Matt Bomer, we’ll see if Aaron Taylor-Johnson ends up playing alongside his filmmaker honey.
