The “Desperate Housewives” star began dating Eduardo after her split from her ex-husband Tony Parker last November.
Longoria reveals that she still believes in love, even after Tony Parker cheated on her.
The actress stated, “The truth is, I should be angry, resentful and disillusioned about relationships. But I’m not. I was very lucky to find Edu.”
Eva adds, “There’s a reason I fell in love and got married. I believed in it. Love did not work with that person. But it can work with another.”
Eva, 36, also gave the ladies out there a heads-up, saying she feels there shouldn’t be a long engagement period before tying the knot. She feels men use the “engagement” to buy them time before they actually have to marry. Wise woman!
She said, “I never believe in long engagements. People think engagement is another step. It’s not another step. You’re single and then you’re married. The engagement is the planning party. So I always agree with short engagements. So many guys are getting married to buy time, ‘Maybe this will buy me more time.’ But if I’m the bride, I’m like, ‘Oh no, alright let’s get going.’ ”
