'Dancing With The Stars' Week 2 Recap

| by I Need My Fix

It's March 26, 2012 which is Week 2 of Season 14 for Dancing With The Stars and we will be live blogging the event in less than two hours so keep hitting refresh to know our thoughts on each couple's dances and what their scores are. Did you watch last week? Was it not THE most incredible premiere night ever for the show

Roshon Fagan & Chelsie Hightower - Quick Step – He's so cute and wiry. I love his personality and he's got great charisma. I love Chelsie trying to bring her swagger to the rehearsals.  Wow what great footwork! He's so energetic. But is it a bit too much? The ending was a bit awkward but how can you not love this couple and it shouldn't matter anyways!! Len loved them! That's saying a lot isn't it? Scores: 9/8/9 = 26/30.

Sherri Shepherd & Val Chmerkovskiy – The Jive – I have to say she is just a ray of sunshine! She is so funny.  The rehearsal footage is hysterical. She is so into the dance singing as she's dancing! They screwed up a part so points will be deducted but I really hope her fans keep her in. Scores: 8/7/8 = 23/30.

Melissa Gilbert & Maksim Chmerkovski - Quick Step – They seem to get along really well judging by the rehearsals. I think she's bringing out the best in him. Who KNEW she dated Billy Idol? Man this girl likes bad boys doesn't she. For her to say this is more difficult than child birth is frightening (not  that I have a frame of reference for either). She seemed to lose timing with him a bit at times it seemed. Scores: 7/6/7 = 20/30.

Jack Wagner & Anna Trebunskaya – The Jive – He kind of reminds me of a 'Botoxed Biff' version of Mick Jagger at the beginning. His moves are a bit feminine. I like the guy but it was a bit of a boring dance. Could be that I'm starving and haven't had dinner yet. What did you think? Scores: 7/7/7 = 21/30.

Gladys Knight & Tristan McManus – Quick Step – I LOVE that Gladys Knight is on the show. Her smile makes me SO happy and I am equally happy that Tristan is back. She is amazing with a great attitude and works SO hard! She seems to dance the difficult moves so effortlessly! You know she just wants to break away and get down! Scores: 7/5/7 = 19/30.

Katherine Jenkins & Mark Ballas – The Jive – She is so beautiful, classy and humble. She's not comfortable flaunting her sexy but she SHOULD. Her moves are tight and this is probably the most energetic and intricate Jive of the night! Omg I could watch these two all night. She OWNED her sexy!!!! Scores: 9/8/9 = 26/30.

Jaleel White & Kym Johnson – The Jive – I was so pleasantly surprised last week. I had no idea of how good or not he would be. I don't know about this dance. I was kind of hypnotized by the cake on the table. I hate to say it but I agree with Len it did lack a bit of 'crispness'. Scores: 7/7/8 = 22/30.

Maria Menounos & Derek Hough – Quick Step – These two are perfect together. They both have oodles of personality. She's been dancing with a cracked rib this whole time which is remarkable. Man, for someone with a cracked rib she sure isn't let it affect her performance. Her footwork is intense! Scores: 8/8/9 = 25/30.

Martina Navratilova & Tony Dovolani – The Jive – Tony seemed really agitated by her injury in rehearsal. I hope that look was concern and not frustration. She was really bad with the beginning of the dance and the foot work. Unless she has a huge fan base  I think she just may be the one to go home tomorrow night. At least we'll have the memories of her looking all glammed up! Scores: 6/5/6 = 17/30.

Donald Driver & Peta Murgatroyd –  Quick Step – I love his laugh and his personality! This guy is so charismatic. I think they did beautifully!! And for Len to think it's the best of the night AND admit he undermarked him in the scores is HUGE with Len. Scores: 8/8/8 = 24/30.

Gavin DeGraw & Karina Smirnoff –  The Jive – Can I just get the obvious out of the way? Besides a phenomenal personality he's got a great ass! He makes The Jive look effortless, doesn't he? That was a very high-energied dance. Scores: 7/7/7 = 21/30.

William Levy & Cheryl Burke – Quick Step – They saved the best for last and you knew the second he hit the stage because the audience went CRAZY. I love that more clothing of his is going to come off as the scores increase. That seems VERY fair to me. I think they did amazing! The timing was incredible. And his little boy is ADORABLE. Scores: 9/7/9 = 25/30.

Whose performance did you enjoy tonight? Who do you think is going home? Tomorrow night's elimination night will include performances from Sugarland teaming up with Matt Nathanson.

Tonight's scores are combined with last week's scores to determine the leader board.
