A photo from the 1930s that was unearthed at a library in New York has many conspiracy theorists wondering if Jay-Z is a time traveler or a vampire.

It was found by the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture at the New York Public Library earlier in the week. It was taken by Sid Grossman in Harlem in 1939. In the photo, a Jay-Z lookalike is seen with his knee resting on a fence, staring at the camera.

The man's identity is not known, but many people seem to think they know who it is.

Conspiracy theorists believe it is Jay-Z, but they are split on how Jay-Z ended up in a picture from the '30s.

One theory is that the rapper is a vampire. Because vampires don't age, it could explain why Jay-Z hasn't aged since the photo was taken.

Others believe it is because Jay-Z is a member of the Illuminati, though that theory doesn't make much sense, because even members of this theorized elite group are not immune to the effects of aging.

And many are theorizing that the photo is proof he is a time traveler. There have been various photos of people from long ago that look like modern day celebrities. These pictures tend to get the conspiracy theorists worked up, trying to convince others that it is proof of time travel.

Jay-Z joins Nicolas Cage and John Travolta as part of the celebrity time traveler group.
