'The Colbert Report' Suspends Production

The late-night comedy program 'The Colbert Report,' hosted by Stephen Colbert, will suspend production on Wednesday and Thursday.

Comedy Central Senior VP for Communications Steve Albani said in a statement: “Due to unforeseen circumstances, the show will air repeat episodes on Wednesday, February 15 and Thursday, February 16."

Albani didn't provide specific reasons for the suspension, saying Comedy Central was “not providing any additional details at this time.”

Colbert did appear with Jimmy Fallon on 'Late Night' earlier this week in a skit that included Ben and Jerry of the famous ice cream company.
