Budweiser Unveils Lost Puppy, Clydesdale Commercial For Super Bowl (Video)

| by Emily Smith

A lost golden Labrador puppy finds his way home against all odds in a new Super Bowl commercial released by Budweiser.

The ad is set to an acoustic cover of the Proclaimers’ “I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles)”, and features a puppy who gets lost after getting separated from his owner.

After a long journey, the puppy makes it back to his owner’s farm, only to be confronted by a terrifying wolf. The pup barks for help and his Clydesdale friend responds, along with a group of three other horses, to fight against the wolf.

The dog, covered in mud and dirt, is escorted back to the farm by his friends where he reunites with his owner.

The advertisement is an entire minute long, meaning that it could cost $9 million to air in full during the February 1 game. Anheuser-Busch will also broadcast two “Up for Whatever” campaign ads during the Super Bowl.

The commercial, known as “Lost Dog”, is a sequel to last year’s Budweiser commercial that went viral.

Already, the new commercial has accumulated over 1 million views on YouTube.
