Will Newly Single Britney Spears Reunite with Kevin Federline?

Right before the Golden Globes weekend, late last Friday night, Britney Spears and Jason Trawick called off their relationship officially with both giving short, boring statements.

Now, someone who’s presumably her manager Larry Rudolph, tells People magazine what went wrong.

The deciding factor was, they say: “different things.”

They add: “There was no third party involved, things haven’t been ideal in their relationship for some time. There was a lot to work on before they could move forward and get married.”

One of those things may have been Trawick’s desire to maintain a life outside their relationship.

“Britney had a lot of issues with Jason doing his own thing – in business and seeing his friends,” a second source says.

“In her perfect world he would have been home with her twenty-four/seven, so that was a point of contention; something they were always working on.”

And Britney wanted more kids, while Jason didn’t: “Britney wants to grow her family,” says the source. “Jason loves her boys but he is not in a place to have his own.”

“They’ve been spending a lot of time apart in the last few months,” says the source.

They say that the relationship has become “frustrating,” but then give the obligatory sweetener at the end saying that they are still: “great friends.”

Poor Britney. I’ve never been sure if the Trawick relationship was cooked up by Larry and her dad Jamie Spears as a way to try and keep the notoriously unhappy when she’s not in a relationship Brit in line. It almost had an aroma de ‘Right, you’re quite young, you sh&g her and she’ll do what you say, which’ll be what we say and you’ll be handsomely remunerated when it ends at a time when she’s deemed by us to be stable’ about it.

The fact they say that Jason isn’t in a place for kids is odd, given that he proposed a year ago. When you’re a 41-year-old man and you ask someone to spend the rest of their life with you don’t you discuss the kids issue first?

Then that part with Jason spending time away from her: early on in their relationship, he was regularly pictured partying in Hollywood clubs with other women. I suppose he got wise eventually to the invention called: cellphone cameras but there’s long been a suggestion that he was physical with her and at the start of X Factor, I’ve never seen a more unhappy couple. He was literally steering her around the filming lot.

I’m hoping that them splitting up is going to be a good thing for Britney if he was making her unhappy – his part in the conservatorship has been dissolved and thus he’s no longer’s responsible for dishing out her meds in the morning morning.

The question is, who’s Britney going to end up with next?

Call me crazy but I smell a KFed reunion on the horizon. When you’ve stopped laughing I’ll explain. Britney really, really loved Kevin and he’s the money- hungry father of her two children Sean P and Jayden James.

Kev, like all chavs, pops out kids the way other men might pop out farts. Britney wants more kids and given that Kevin’s got full custody of their two and will have until they’re eighteen, the only way Britney has of getting them back full-time is getting him back.

Kevin’s on team Larry and Jamie and a really close source tells me that there’s no problem between him and Britney and they get on really well at the moment, he’s also flexible on childcare arrangements- happily going outside of court-agreed outlines and letting Brit have the boys when she likes.

With a Las Vegas residency on the horizon for Spears, it’ll mean a permanent move for Britney so why not take Kev and the kids too?

He’s still with girlfriend and baby moma no. 3 Victoria Prince but he was tempted away from his pregnant baby moma no1 Shar Jackson by Britney’s cash and celebrity lifestyle once before so why wouldn’t he be a second time?
