Barbara Walters' daughter, Jacqueline Danforth, was arrested for DUI in Florida on Sunday according to TMZ.

Danforth, 44, was pulled over near Naples, Fla. It is not known how much she had to drink or if she was driving with anyone else.

Walters' biography and several TV specials discussed her daughter's troubled childhood. The daughter vowed to get her life on track after she went through a difficult life as a teenager, struggling with substance abuse.

She even ran a wilderness program for troubled girls in northern Maine, but that closed down in 2008.

The Collier County Sheriff's Office website says she was released on $1,000 bond.

Walters has not commented on the incident.
