Mark Dice, a conservative activist, recently interviewed people on a Southern California beach and asked them some basic questions about Independence Day and the Declaration of Independence.

Some Americans were unable to name which country the U.S. declared its independence from or they agreed with Dice when he told them that it was China.

In some questions, Dice asked "what year" was the Declaration of Independence was signed "back 1776," but they struggled to answer.

So far the video (below) has 6,000 views on YouTube.

Dice also phrased the question by asking "what year did Jesse Ventura and Jack Lemmon sign the Declaration of Independence?"

Amazingly, Americans were stumped by these questions that children are taught in grade school, or at least used to be.
