These 5 stars have all learned the hard way that you shouldn’t leave nude photos hanging around – be it on a laptop, cell phone, email – nothing is safe from hacking, especially if your famous! For some reason they all snapped saucy selfies of themselves and left them somewhere that a hacker was able to access them and leak them online or try to sell them. Other nude images were obtained through stolen laptops or an extra sneaky paparazzi. These celebrities were all left devastated when their personal nude images were leaked without thought for the amusement of others or in a bid to cash in. Some were left upset, feeling vulnerable and violated while others tried their best to fight back with legal action.
A rep for Adrienne said that ‘The Cheetah Girls’ star would be taking legal action when naked photos were leaked of the star after her laptop was stolen: “The photos that have surfaced of Adrienne Bailon were stolen from her laptop over a week ago at an airport in NY and sent to several media outlets. These photos were taken in private. Adrienne will be pursuing legal action against the person or person’s sending these private photos out. Adrienne is deeply sorry for any pain this may have caused to her fans.”
After a semi-nude snap of Christina hit the internet, a rep commented that Christina would do everything in her power to track the culprit: “The photos of Christina Aguilera being leaked to the press were illegally obtained by a hacker who tapped into Christina’s personal stylist’s account. The photos were taken in the privacy of Ms. Aguilera’s home and were used only in a personal exchange between the star and her stylist. We find the actions of the hackers and the press who purchased and/or obtained these photos to be irresponsible and actionable. We are attempting to determine the identity of the hackers and will pursue them aggressively. Their conduct is reprehensible.”
Megan felt sick after personal naked photos were leaked: “If I knew who took this picture, I would personally cause them harm – physical harm. I’m not a f**king reality TV star that’s courting the paparazzi and wants my f**king picture taken all the time. I’m at my job and I’m trying to play a character and I’m trying to be serious, and this is the s**t that’s happening to me. It makes me furious.”
Scarlett felt that the incident was unfortunate: ”It was really terrible; I felt absolutely violated. I wasn’t really aware of how vulnerable all of us are, but I think everybody is just discovering that now, especially with the recent phone-hacking scandals. Being hacked made me feel more vulnerable than I ever had previously. I couldn’t figure it out. For a while, I thought it must be someone that I knew who was posting these pictures of me and that was making me incredibly paranoid. I was looking around at all of my friends, who I have known for 20 years, wondering who the backstabber was. So to find out it wasn’t a friend who hacked in was a relief, oddly.”
Vanessa thought that when nude snaps of her were leaked in 2007 that her career hit a major low point: “That was just a really s**tty situation that sucked. That was by far the worst moment of my career.”
