"American Idol" Hopeful, Symone Black, Takes a Tumble

“American Idol” judges were horrified after watching a contestant on the show, teenager Symone Black, become dizzy and fall off the stage during a taped audition.

Symone had just finished singing Otis Redding’s “Sittin’ On the Dock Of The Bay” and was chatting with the judges when she suddenly seemed disoriented.

Black staggered forward to the front edge of the stage and fell about five feet to the ground, hitting her head.

The executive producer of the show, Nigel Lythgoe, rushed over to help her and called for a medic.
