Less than 24 hours before The Hunger Games hits the theatres and the movie is on it's way to breaking box-office records with already selling $15 million in advance ticket sales. THR is reporting that one movie exhibitor thinks that the midnight showing alone could rake in about $20 million.
Fandango is reporting that presells of the movie have risen to the number four slot in all-time highs overtaking The Twilight Saga: Eclipse and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1. That's pretty significant if you think about it given the popularity of those franchises.

From a weekend perspective, it is expected that THG will exceed the $116 million mark. Later this morning Lionsgate will release their estimate. After the midnight viewing of the movie, it will open in 4,137 theatres come Friday.
