This is a bit dated... though it is always worth repeating. Wakefield's work is a disgrace to researchers everywhere, bending his research to support his theories and the wishes of his benefactors (trial lawyers seeking to get money off of vaccine damage settlements).

Unfortunately his work has caused vast amounts of damage, leading to a decrease in the MMR vaccine... which has led to a corresponding jump in illness from these preventable diseases.

We've known the research was quetsionable for some time, but the inquiry itself just completed.
