Did Sarah Palin Get Caught "Cheating" During Tea Party Q&A?

Sarah Palin made a much talked-about speech at the first-ever Tea Party Convention in Nashville over the weekend. She of course used a teleprompter during the address. But during a question and answer session, she appeared to use her hand as a teleprompter of sorts, reading notes scribbled on it. Watch:

A close-up of the hand shows it reads "Energy," "Budget Cuts," "Tax," and "Lift American Spirits."

Sarah Palin caught with crib notes on her hand

There's been no comment from Palin about the crib note controversy.

I don't know whether to be sad or angry that Sarah Palin and the GOP have so successfully managed to infiltrate, undermine, and neutralize the Tea Party movement. The original movement was anti-Obama, to be sure, but they were equally anti-Bush and anti-GOP. That Sarah Palin has appointed herself head of the movement, brought a bunch of neocons in with her, and literally driven out the libertarians , small government liberals , and paleo- conservatives that started the movement is maddening. I actually saw a news story the other day where the supposed Tea Party "leadership" was criticizing Ron Paul for being "too libertarian," not seeming to realize or care that Ron Paul was one of the people who started the Tea Party movement.

What exactly is the big deal here? Is she the only one that has ever jotted down notes in prep for an interview or speech ? I think a mountain is being made out of a molehill here.

Q&A with Sarah Palin's hand. Tell it to the hand.

That "Budget Cuts" is turned into "Tax Cuts"... Because the GOP never intends to spend less, and always spends more.

Funny, that she had to one line it though. I swear, Palin might be the GOP's worst enemy...

Sarah consistently demonstrates a less than intelligent grasp of just about every subject she talks about. Why do people listen to her, although she does give excellent comediacal value.
