Cool or Not? Miami Heat Players Attend Mavs Victory Party

So you've just been soundly beaten in Game 6 of the NBA Finals. The season is over. What do you do next? Well, if you are a member of the Miami Heat, you apparently attend a post-game party for your opponent.

Business Insider reports on a rumor that is sweeping traditional and new media on Tuesday that "several" Heat players attended a Mavericks championship party Sunday night after Game 6 of the NBA finals.

It writes:

The rumor developed as follows:

First, ESPN 790 AM in Miami floated the rumor.

Then ESPN’s Jemele Hill tweeted about the floating of the rumor.

Then writer Earl K. Snead legitimized the rumor, tweeting, “this is true. i confirm it! haha”.

Snead refused to reveal the names of the Heat players, tweeting, “I’m no snitch!”

Hill apparently has no problem being a rat, tweeting, “Dampier was one.” That would be Heat center, Erick Dampier, who played the previous six seasons with the Mavs.

Whatever happened to hating your opponents? That's so 20th century, apparently.
