A pair of fatal multiple shootings have made headlines in Tarpon Springs, Florida. An NRA firearms instructor is in custody charged in the January shooting deaths of his grandfather and grandmother. Also in Tarpon Springs, police are investigating four shooting deaths in a horrible murder-suicide. Plus a Trenton, New Jersey teen is shot by her boyfriend with a stolen handgun.

MSNBC reports:
An elderly couple found slain in their burnt home in January were killed by their grandson, police said. George Stephen Georgiou, 22, was arrested in the deaths of Flora Georgiou, 78, and Steve Georgiou, 83. He faces one charge of arson and two charges of first-degree murder.
Georgiou was being held at the Pinellas County Jail without bail. He told detectives he was a National Rifle Association firearms instructor and teaches students to shoot at a person’s center mass and head “to ensure a kill,” the affidavits said. “During (the) interview, the suspect also stated that he thought it would be cool to kill someone,” the affidavits said.

Tampa Bay Online reports:
A handful of additional details was released today in a multiple shooting that left four people dead. Tarpon Springs police  said the third person fatally shot in Tuesday’s triple murder-suicide was Mara S. Shuman, 50. Her identity had been withheld until her family was notified. Also killed were Shuman’s boyfriend, Michael Schriebman, 53; and his mother, Sarah Schriebman, 75. Louis Schriebman, 21 – who was Michael’s nephew and Sarah’s grandson – killed the three at the house at 1407 Ironworks Lane where they all lived, said Capt. Jeff Young. Louis then killed himself, Young said. Louis was arrested Saturday night in Pasco County and charged with possession of marijuana, carrying a concealed weapon, possession of a controlled substance and possessing contraband in a detention facility after officers found a single bullet in his pocket and six morphine pills during a strip search. When he returned home, Michael told Louis he needed to leave the house, said Alan Kessler, Mara Shuman’s stepfather. Louis left and when he returned his bags were on the porch, Kessler said. When asked if that’s what set Louis off, Kessler said “that’s the general feeling.”

The Trentoian reports:
A 17-year-old city girl was rushed to the hospital and considered to be in extremely critical condition after her boyfriend shot her in the stomach, according to police. Police said officers were dispatched on a report of a shooting in progress. When they got to the scene, police found a car outside the address with four people inside. In the back seat was the 17-year-old victim, seriously injured but said to be conscious at the time. Next to her was her boyfriend, 20-year-old Karl Poyau, who police said was in possession of a loaded handgun. The boyfriend claimed the shooting was accidental, police said, but that it did occur while the two were arguing. Police determined the gun found on the boyfriend, a loaded 9mm, was previously reported stolen from an address in the city.
