David Arquette Tells Oprah about a Drinking Life

David Arquette's partying ways started at an extremely young age -- four years old, to be exact.

The recently separated actor confessed to Oprah Winfrey that he consumed his first beer at age four and stole marijuana from his father at eight.

"I was down in the basement with my dad and beer was there, and I just grabbed it and drank it," Arquette, 39, recalled. "And I remember that. It's one of my earliest memories."

Arquette was something of a trainwreck during the winter, appearing on Howard Stern's radio show and divulging candid information about his sexual conquests away from estranged wife Courtney Cox.

On Thursday, the actor said he's completed treatment at a rehab center.

"Kids are doing stuff very early," Arquette told Oprah, admitting that he started drinking seriously at age 12.

Arquette said he was forced to go to rehab after Cox and his sister -- Patricia Arquette -- staged an intervention in December of 2010.

The actor was filling in for Michael Vick, who had promised to do Oprah's show before backing out.
