There are many ways in life to serve and communicate higher knowledge. We are all born teachers in some capacity, with a unique path and individual calling. The yogis call this “life’s purpose” our Dharma and believe that we offer our brightest light to the world when we connect to this personal truth.

This judge looked an inmate square in the eyes and did something that left the entire courtroom in tears:

Teaching yoga is a calling that offers us an honorable way to serve humanity at the deepest levels of existence. Its rewards lie in the simple knowing that at the end of every day we did our part in helping to create a healthier world. This course is intended for those who believe in the healing potential of yoga as a path of personal transformation, and those who would like to explore the possibility of inspiring others, through example, to transform their lives. Our mission is to offer a safe place of exploration to yogis, as both students and blossoming teachers; to inspire an authentic experience of self-inquiry that cultivates the skills necessary to better care for ourselves, others, and the world around us.

About Angela

Angela has been teaching yoga since 2002 and describes her vinyasa classes as a true moving meditation; linking organic movement, breath, and sound in a seamless dance of self-discovery.  Her approach to yoga is rooted deeply in ancient wisdom, but is beautifully intertwined with the richness of her life experience. She believes that by synchronizing our individual rhythms with the energetic pulse of the natural world, we begin to step away from the illusion of separation and into the awareness of our connection to all living things. As we connect to this unlimited source of energy and unearth the infinite possibilities of conscious expression, we can begin to experience the joyousness of truly being alive.
