Cops: Todd Palin Not Part of Prostitution Ring

Police in Alaska say there is no truth to a report that they have evidence linking Sarah Palin's husband to a prostitution ring.

The National Enquirer reported last week that Todd Palin was having an affair with a message therapist who was involved in a prostitution ring. The report said Shailey Tripp was arrested for running the ring, and that police had evidence that could tie Palin to Tripp.

But police say that is nonsense.

"It was just guilt by innuendo, nothing else," Anchorage police Lt. Dave Parker told the New York Daily News. "There’s not one scintilla of evidence that Todd Palin had anything to do with this."

Parker confirmed that police did indeed arrest Tripp for running an illegitimate massage parlor, and that they did seize evidence from the place.

But Parker insisted none of the evidence examined by police showed any connection to Palin, and that Palin was never even on their radar.
