Connie Culp Undergoes First Face Transplant in U.S.

Connie Culp has become the first person in America to successfully undergo a complete facial transplant. Culp was shot in the face by her husband in 2004, and although she survived, the incident left her disfigured and unable to breathe on her own. Now more than 40 doctors have worked to restructure her face and essentially give Culp her life back.
