While the actual significance of the NBA lottery, draft positioning and media circus that surrounds unproven collegiate basketball prospects leaves much to be desired, the process has become something of a staple for the league. This year, it was the Minnesota Timberwolves who had the best odds of pulling in the No. 1 overall pick, so naturally, they didn’t.
