Colts Punter Pat McAfee Found Swimming Drunk in River

| by

Indianapolis Colts punter Pat McAfee was arrested on charges of public intoxication after swimming in Indianapolis' Central Canal at 4:45 a.m.

A call came into police saying a man -- who turned out to be a drunk 23-year-old McAfree -- tried to enter a witness' car at a stoplight while wet and shirtless.

When police arrived, they said McAfee smelled of alcohol and blew a .015, which is nearly twice the legal limit in Indiana. When asked how much he had to drink, McAfee said: "A lot, because I'm drunk."

According to the Indy Star: McAfee asked if he could hail a cab or walk home but the officer told him there were no cabs that late and that it wasn’t safe for him to walk.
