Chris Bosh No Longer Associated with Raptors on Twitter

| by Off The Record

In this day of age, there is nothing that expresses oneself more than their Twitter page. This holds particularly true with USA National Team forward Chris Bosh.

Bosh’s Twitter page used to be littered with Toronto Raptors references. It may have been a picture of him in their jersey or just the beautiful purples and reds of the team’s color. And why not?  He did play for them after all.

Take a glance now. Nothing. It’s just a picture of him sitting in chair with a kind-of tuxedo on pondering how nice it will be to play with Dwyane Wade in Miami.

On a serious note, Bosh has the option to opt out of his contract this year with the Raptors. It will leave more than $17 million on the table, but it will allow him to join a free agency class which includes LeBron James, Dwayne Wade, Amare Stoudemire, and Speedy Claxton.

Bosh averaged career highs this past season with 24 points and 10.8 rebounds per game. He seeks a huge contract this offseason and it’s quite possible he could land on a team that he could help win right away. He’s that good of a player and a change of scenery is most likely to happen.

It began on his Twitter page. Dwayne Wade-Chris Bosh, 2010-11.
