Cheryl Burke isn’t thrilled with Chris Brown being on Dancing with the Stars
Dancing with the Stars cast member Cheryl Burke let it be known that she is not impressed with producers bringing Chris Brown on the show for a performance.
Cheryl tells Extra! why she feels so strongly against it: “As a victim of domestic violence, I don’t agree with him coming on the show, but it’s out of my control.”
Cheryl Burke has long spoken out against domestic violence and is involved in the “Tell a Gal Pal” campaign designed to encourage victims of domestic violence to seek the support of a friend.
She told USA Today last September: “I was a victim many years ago, and now is the time to talk openly about it. This is a huge priority for me. I got out of my situation because I told a friend at a guest house. It makes such a huge difference to talk openly about it. It’s something serious that people need to do.”
Despite Cheryl’s stance on the Chris Brown matter, Wendy Williams of Dancing with the Stars is looking forward to Chris’s performance. “I can’t wait, I can’t wait! What’s gonna happen?”
